Hi, if you are planning on renting a appartment from MainStreet in Edmonton, then please do not.
They do not do any maintance ever, they do not visit you to see if you have any trouble. The only two times you see the manager is when you get your keys, and when you move out.
When you move in, they will promise you to fix everything. And when you move out they will inspect your building to see what has been broken. Maybe they should have that inspection before you rent, or after one week you are renting so they can fix it when they need to fix it.
But no, they will NOT fix anything. And they will charge you for everything that is not fixed after you move out.
So your down deposit will be gone, as extra money for them. DO NOT TRUST MAINSTREET.
Please if you have any issues with them, please post them here, and i will create a page for them until they stop scamming people.
